Disclosure: I received a pair of these pajamas for free from Sleepyeads for me to review. I was not required to write a positive review; all opinions expressed are my own. Some links on this page may be affiliate links.
I normally write about children’s clothing; while Sleepyheads certainly sells cute children’s pajamas in addition to women’s and men’s, they’ve been kind enough to sponsor a women’s giveaway prize just for you here, ladies!
Here I’m reviewing this Sleepyheads Women’s Lightweight Short Sleeve and Capri Cotton Pajamas. I’m also running a free giveaway below. It’s a straightforward and fun contest where one reader wins a pair of these pajamas for free, valued at around $45 retail! Simply say what you enjoy most about these pajamas and why you want to win them. Best answer wins. The prize will be shipped direct from the Sleepy Heads store. You can enter the giveaway in the form at the end of the review. Here are how the PJ’s look on me:
I love the trendy fresh capri style of these pajamas and the fun spring color. These are ideal for the woman who is seeking an up-to-date young fashion-forward look in her nightwear – while still enjoying modesty.
If you’re expecting house guests this summer, or if you yourself will be a house guest, then these pajamas are a fantastic choice. They offer ladies the perfect young feminine look while still ensuring full modesty: so appropriate if you’ll be on a getaway or vacation with extended family.
Or just wear these around the house on a lazy Saturday morning! I definitely don’t want to wear skimpy lingerie-style nightwear in front of my 2 young sons, so these Sleepyheads Lightweight Short Sleeve and Capri Cotton Pajamas are perfect for my family life.
The first thing I noticed upon opening the package was that the 100% cotton material was very soft and comfortable to the touch – in fact, even better in real life than the Sleepyheads store photo would suggest, to my happy surprise. So you can be assured of comfort.
Sizing is great – it fits true to size. I love that this style is available in a range of sizes going all the way from XS to XL – and it’ll suit all ladies in those sizes.
I was thrilled that the style is still flattering for me as a size small – in other stores modest styles are often only designed to truly suit larger sizes, but this style is one that anyone of any size from XS to XL could wear successfully like it was made for them. This is because the style is neither clingy nor really loose. It’s somewhat more loose than clingy, but because of the softness of the material and the drape of it, your natural curves will show – without any awkward bits showing. In particular, I was thrilled that both the front and back of the bikini area didn’t show anything that it shouldn’t, and likewise for the chest area. Yes, I review items thoroughly for my readers!
The capri pants and short sleeves make for a style that is exciting and fun. I also noticed the rose hue brought out the color in my complexion, so if you’re still getting over the winter then you’ll look and feel your best in these Sleepyheads capri PJ’s.
The material is light and summery, perfect to see you all the way through spring, summer and early fall.
I had a hard time finding any negatives about these short-sleeve capri pajamas. I really tried, but couldn’t find any – despite taking this product through all its paces. It launders just fine by the way – no pilling or bunching.
You can check out the photos of how these Sleepyheads pajamas fit on me. I can attest that these pajamas allow you to re-create that happy Saturday-morning feeling no matter what time of day you wear them! This could be the best thing to change into after coming home from work:
This contest has ended on April 25, 2016.
