You want your children’s feet to be warm and dry during even the snowiest weather. So, here is our guide to the best places for children’s snow boots.
You can find high quality and stylish snow boots at OshKosh B'gosh. Their boots are often on sale, and the sale prices are surprisingly low – similar to or even cheaper than you can find elsewhere. The only catch is that OKBG only stocks sizes up to a youth 3, so if your child needs a higher size you’ll need to look at one of the other options below.
You can go straight to their shoe shop here.
US brand Oaki (pronounced “oak-y”, like the tree) specializes in stylish yet affordable children’s cold-weather and wet-weather clothing. This is where I purchased my children’s snow boots for winter of 2017-2018. What I like best about Oaki’s snow boots is that they have a good range of colors and sizes, and unlike many other stores, they replenish their stock well so that you’ll be able to order whatever you want.
If you’re seeking maximum bang for your buck, Oaki is a great choice. They occasionally have flash sales on their snow boots – but even at full price they’re very affordable compared to other outdoor companies.
Cookie's Kids stocks a range of snow boots. It’s like an Overstock store, buying up excess inventory from well-known brands and selling it off, passing along the savings to you. Some of their snow boots are from great brands like The North Face. As a result, the prices can be high compared to getting a less-known brand elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a great deal on a top brand then Cookie’s Kids is for you.
You can get to the shoe section of Cookie’s Kids here.
You can find an incredible array of snow boots for kids on Amazon from a bunch of different brands. It’s the place to go for the best range of styles and sizes. If you get in early you can get some good deals.
The Children’s Place
This one is last on my list for a reason: the snow boots from The Children's Place can be a little hit-or-miss. One year I bought two pairs of snow boots from there, one for each child, and one pair worked perfectly but I had to throw out the other pair as they leaked – a big safety issue when dealing with snow. Hopefully that was just a random issue with occasional items in that year’s line and not an ongoing thing. The prices are really low, but I’d hesitate to shop there again for snow boots based on my past experience. Still, they do stock snow boots at a low price point and I’m hoping they have improved the quality by now.
For regular items of clothing, Children’s Place has superb quality. But I’d recommend the other stores listed above more than The Children’s Place when it comes to snow boots.
