In articles that contain affiliate links or that are a sponsored post or where a product or service was given to me free of cost to review, a disclosure to explain this relationship is made at the top of the article underneath the headline. For example, for a sponsored post, the disclosure will say "I was compensated for writing this article".
By contrast, in articles for which there is no compensation (financial, affiliate, or goods/services), there is no need for such a disclosure and it will be absent.
Thus disclosures are made on a per-article basis for maximum transparency, ensuring that the reader is clearly informed in each and every article where there are affiliate links, a sponsored post, or where goods or services were received.

Types of Information We Collect and How We Collect It
The majority of the product and service information posted on our sites is offered without our collecting any personally identifiable information from you. You can surf the website and view our content anonymously.
Information You Provide
There are a few activities on our sites where the collection of personally identifiable information is necessary. Those activities include special events, like entering a contest or giveaway, subscribing to a newsletter or other information, purchasing banner ad space (see special section below), filling out a survey or questionnaire, or contacting us via email. Your privacy is important to us; we do not sell your data. We do not market to, seek to solicit information from, or knowingly collect information from children under 13. When we collect personally identifiable information, you will know because you will have to provide that information to us. For activities where personally identifiable information is collected, we will usually collect only your name and e-mail address. You can surf the website and view our content anonymously without giving us any personally identifiable information.
Information you provide if you purchase ad banner space
In addition to the above, if you choose to purchase ad banner space from us, we collect only the information you provide to us that is strictly necessary for that purchase. This information is: email address, PayPal email address if different, URL of the site you wish to advertise, and your banner artwork. All payments are handled through the third-party provider PayPal, so we at GoodKidsClothes.com never see or store your credit card details.
By default we use third-party form submission service Cognito Forms to collect your banner ad information. This third-party service therefore stores your submitted form information (email address and banner information) on their servers; we manually delete this data from Cognito Forms within 30 days of the last day your banner ad was scheduled to run. We make a disclosure about this on the form submission page immediately above the form, and we offer you the alternative option of emailing us that information in case you prefer that your data does not go through a third party.
The right to be forgotten
If you have given us any personally identifiable information and wish to remove it, you can do so by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org . For security reasons (i.e. to prove it is really you making the request), you would need to contact us from the email address of which you provided us the information you wish to delete. We will then delete all emails or records of you that we have which include that email address.
Specifically in the case of our newsletter, you can unsubscribe from our mailing list via the unsubscribe link contained in any copy of the newsletter that you have received. We comply with the CAN-SPAM act.
Information Collected from You with Technology
Our site may collect some information about you using technology, so it may not be readily apparent to you that it is being collected. For instance, when you visit our site, we may collect certain non-personally identifiable information from your browser, such as your Internet service provider’s address, the web page from which you came, and a record of your activity on our site. This information is not personally identifiable. If you visit our sites on a mobile device, we may collect information about the device, including the operating system and your location.
Cookies from other sites may require your attention: if you click on a link from our site to another site, then a tracking cookie may be placed from another domain. It is not practical to list all possible additional cookies and durations here. To prevent any tracking of this kind, change your browser settings for cookies to "block third-party cookies".
Some, but not all, pages on this site also use tracking pixels or GIFs. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party analytics software.
How We Use the Personally Identifiable Information that We Collect
When you supply us with personally identifiable information, the information you provide is used solely for the specific task for which it was supplied. For example, if you supplied your name and email to subscribe to a newsletter, we would only use it for the purposes of sending you the newsletter, and we never share, sell or give your details to another company. For another example, if you supplied your name and email when contacting us via email for any reason, we would never use that information to subscribe you to our newsletter.
The Type of Security We Provide
The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with our users is of utmost concern to us. We take technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps to protect all visitors’ information. There are some things that you can do to help protect the security of your information as well. You should use caution when using public Wi-Fi, which can make your personal information available to others if not properly secured.
Organizations That Help Protect the Security and Safety of our Users and our Sites
We will give out personal information as required by law, for example, to comply with a court order or subpoena, or to protect the safety and security of users and our site. Changes to this Privacy Notice will be posted on this page. If we make a material change to our privacy practices, we will provide notice on the site or by other means as appropriate.
